On August 4th, 2019 the Coalition of Clubs rallied together again to provide over 200 backpacks full of school supplies for the Foster Children of Montgomery County Ohio. In partnership with Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services, the Coalition of Clubs hosted the inaugural Backpack by Bikers event for these worthy children. Historically, the children were provided limited supplies to begin school and the COC could not stand idly by. Each backpack contained an abundance of school supplies that will ensure all the children don't need to search for supplies to succeed. They now have them! We would like to thank everyone for your support throughout the year and as it affords us to continue to give back to our communities.
Ohio COC Commissioner Michael "Sleezy" Bowling stated; "It was truly an honor yesterday for the Ohio Coalition of Clubs (COC) to pass out over 200 backpacks filled with school supplies!! COC wanted to ensure the foster children of Montgomery County are ready to kick the school year off with a new backpack and the required items needed to be successful this school year. Go get ‘em kids!! The Ohio Coalition of Clubs is here for you." .
