On April 17th, 2019 the Coalition of Clubs was fortunate enough to bring a ray of sunshine to some of the Foster Children of Montgomery County Ohio. In partnership with Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services, the Coalition of Clubs hosted the inaugural Easter Egg Hunt for these worthy children providing. On top of the hundreds and hundreds of candy filled eggs, children we awarded prizes such as drones, candy baskets and even a couple of bikes.
Our efforts were recognized by the Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services staff as they stated: “The event was a success and the families all had fun. A huge thanks to our staff that helped out and most importantly the Men and their families who graciously gave of their time and resources to put this on!” “Please convey our gratitude to everyone who made these kid’s Easter! It was so much fun!!” “Thank you much for putting together such a wonderful event for our kids.”
No comment was greater than one parent coming forward with tears in her eyes saying “thank you… thank you… thank you… without you, I would have never been able to provide this type of Easter for my daughter!” We would like to thank everyone for your support throughout the year and as it affords us to continue to give back to our communities. .
